The simplest path to attain God in this age is the path of bhakti. As the foremost exponent of the subject, Sage Narad has revealed the essence of bhakti and meditation from all Vedic scriptures. It is said, however, that only a rasik saint can understand the words and ways of another rasik saint, and so the subtle meaning of these verses remains beyond our comprehension.

During the 1990 sadhana programme in Bhakti Dham, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj gave this unique and powerful series explaining Narad Bhakti Darshan. He authoritatively delivered each discourse with such intense philosophy, in such a simple and succinct manner, that any seeker desirous of the meaning of spirituality and the true meaning of devotion, needed no further knowledge to attain the goal of everlasting happiness.

Even though Sage Narad intended these aphorisms for God-realised souls, Kripalu Ji Maharaj simplifies their meaning for the benefit of all spiritual aspirants. This priceless publication contains all eleven discourses with scriptural references.

नारद जी भक्ति के प्रमुख आचार्य माने जाते हैं। इन्होंने भक्ति सम्बन्धी समस्त शास्त्रीय ज्ञान चौरासी सूत्रों के रूप में प्रकट किया है, जो ‘नारद भक्ति दर्शन’ के नाम से विख्यात है- किन्तु उनकी व्याख्या करना साधारण बुद्धि के द्वारा सम्भव नहीं है। कोई श्रोत्रिय ब्रह्मनिष्ठ महापुरुष ही उनकी दिव्य वाणी का सही सही अर्थ समझ सकता है।

भगवद् रसिक रसिक की बातें। रसिक बिना कोऊ समुझ सकै ना।

श्री महाराज जी द्वारा भक्ति धाम मनगढ़ में अक्टूबर 1990 में ग्यारह प्रवचनों के रूप में इन सूत्रों की जो व्याख्या की गई है वह विलक्षण ही है। इस प्रवचन शृंखला में श्री महाराज जी ने इतना अधिक तत्त्व ज्ञान भर दिया है कि भक्तिमार्गीय किसी भी साधक के लिए इससे अधिक और कुछ सुनने समझने की आवश्यकता ही नहीं है। यद्यपि इन सूत्रों में नारद जी ने सिद्धा भक्ति के स्वरूप का निरूपण किया हैं, किन्तु श्री महाराज जी ने इस प्रकार से व्याख्या की है कि साधना भक्ति-श्रवण, कीर्तन, स्मरण का स्वरूप भी पूर्णतया स्पष्ट हो जाता है। यानी सिद्धा भक्ति अर्थात् दिव्य प्रेम प्राप्ति का पात्र कैसे तैयार किया जाय, इसका भी वर्णन इतने सरल एवं सरस ढंग से किया गया है कि जनसाधारण भी हृदयंगम कर सकता है- कुछ श्रोताओं ने तो यहाँ तक लिख कर भेजा है कि सम्भवतया नारद जी स्वयं भी इन सब सूत्रों की व्याख्या करते तो इतनी सुन्दर व्याख्या न कर पाते।
