हमारे यहाँ सनातन धर्म में नाना प्रकार का वैमत्य दिखाई पड़ता है। वेदों में, शास्त्रों में, पुराणों में एवं अन्यान्य आर्ष ग्रन्थों में मतभेद सा है, जिसका निराकरण जनसाधारण नहीं कर पाता, जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप जीव सुलझने के बजाय अधिकाधिक उलझता जाता है। इस विरोधाभास का अत्यन्ताभाव जगद्गुरु श्री कृपालु जी महाराज जैसे अलौकिक प्रतिभा सम्पन्न महापुरुष ही कर सकते हैं। उनका व्यक्तित्व कृतित्व एवं उनके प्रवचन इसका प्रमाण हैं कि किस प्रकार उन्होंने अद्वैतवाद, विशिष्टाद्वैतवाद, द्वैताद्वैतवाद, द्वैतवाद विशुद्धाद्वैतवाद, अचिन्त्यभेदाभेदवाद आदि मतानुयायी आचार्यो के सिद्धान्तों का सुन्दर समन्वय करते हुये भक्तियोग की प्रमुख उपयोगिता एवं विलक्षणता पर प्रकाश डाला है।
