Shyama Shyam Geet, 4

mana nahin mane manamani kare shyama

vishayon ke hatha bika mana athu yama

O Shyama! What should I do? My mind constantly remains engrossed in worldly pleasures; it acts according to its own whims and fancies.

mana kaha jhalaka dikha de tuka shyama

phira nahin tora pachha chhodum athu yama

O Shyama! Let me just have a glimpse of Your beautiful divine form. I am sure Your beauty will captivate my heart forever and I will never be able to leave You thereafter.

tera bane binu jina jina nahin shyama

yum to peta bhara lete shukara grama

Life without You is meaningless. Just fulfilling one's physical needs is to be no better than a beast. What is the purphose or value of human life without You?
