jala binu mina jyon vikala kaha bama
vaise mana vyakula ho jaya binu shyama
If you desire to see Shyama, increase your longing for Her just as a fish is completely restless without water.
raha nahin jaye jaba mile binu shyama
taba jano premabija, jama uradhama
When there is such intense yearning that life seems to be a burden without Shri Shyama, it is only then that the seed of divine love begins to grow within you.
aisi chaha paida karo nija uradhama
jaise kare dipa te patanga kaha bama
One should have love for Shyama Shyam just as a moth has towards a flame. A moth will even destroy itself, but not give up the flame.
