Radha Govind Geet is an encyclopedia of divine knowledge. It’s 11,111 devotional couplets, published in Hindi in two volumes, overflow with the essence of the philosophy of the Vedas, Shastras, Puranas and other scriptures, revealed in a very simple, lucid form. This holy scripture comprises nineteen chapters, each containing profound knowledge necessary for any aspirant to traverse his or her spiritual journey.
The subject of this publication is the fourteenth chapter that describes the glories and unique power of the holy name of the Supreme Divine Entity, Shri Radha. There is no restriction of time or place in chanting Shri Radha’s name. Being the very embodiment of grace, Shri Radha presents Herself without delay before the one who recites it with full faith and surrender. It is so blissful that even the Supreme Lord Shri Krishna, the bestower of infinite happiness, chants Her name.
These 161 couplets inculcate intense devotional feelings without any assiduous effort on our part. In this small publication the English translation of each couplet is presented, intended to elucidate the meaning even though this may well be a gross injustice to the divine words of the author. Nevertheless, an effort has been made to present his words according to our understanding. We hope that you, the reader, will bear with our mistakes.
